Biographical Sketch

Dr. Denise Lindstrom earned her bachelor's degree in English for Secondary Teachers from California State University and both her master's in Curriculum and Instructional Technology and her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Iowa State University. Her research interests include, in-school practices with emerging technologies, teacher attitudes toward and perceptions of technology integration, effective professional development with digital media and integrating STEM in K-12 classrooms. Dr. Lindstrom has been the recipient of the Professional and Graduate Student senate Research Award, and the Excellence in Teaching Award, from Iowa State University, as well as the Lifetime Service Award from the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE). She is currently employed as an Associate Professor in the School of Education at the College of Applied Human Sciences at West Virginia University Morgantown, WV,
