Life at WVU

Student Living Room

Our residence halls are much more than a place to sleep. Study, relax, create and dream with like-minded friends in Living-Learning Communities formed around a theme or specific field of study. First-time freshmen and transfer students with fewer than 24 credit hours must live in a residence hall for the first year. After that, you can choose one of our apartment complexes or live off campus.

Student Getting a Meal

A good meal is always nearby. Choose locations across campus, including four residential dining centers and retail options like Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Tres Habaneros, Panini Pete's and Which Wich. Looking for low calorie or allergen-free options? We have that covered, too.

Transportation and Parking

Our electric people mover, the Personal Rapid Transit or PRT, is the best ride in town. Where else can you glide above traffic in computer-driven cars while studying for your next class? Your student ID gives you free access to the PRT and Morgantown’s Mountain Line buses.
