Biographical Sketch
Frankie Tack is a Service Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Mental Health and Addiction Studies bachelor’s degree program and associated minors in the Department of Counseling and Learning Sciences at West Virginia University. She has worked and taught in the addiction field for 25 years, with special interests in women and families affected by addiction, tobacco use disorder and the LGBTQ+ population. Frankie is a West Virginia certified advanced addiction counselor, a certified clinical supervisor and a certified tobacco treatment specialist. She serves as Faculty Senate Chair-Elect for 2022-2023.
