A Logan County, W.Va., native, McNeely earned his undergraduate degree in sport management from West Virginia University in 1992, graduating magna cum laude and receiving NASPE Student of the Year honors. From 2010, McNeely served as the inaugural executive tournament director of The Greenbrier Classic, an internationally televised PGA Tour event that earned the tour’s “Best in Class” recognition in its debut season. McNeely’s professional leadership has also included executive roles in real estate and service as president of the North Central West Virginia Real Estate Information Network and the West Virginia Golf Association. His recognitions include West Virginia Executive’s “Young Guns” and the State Journal’s “Generation Next—Top 40 Under 40.”
