Biographical Sketch
Lacey is a West Virginia native who has a passion for serving Appalachian folks. She has completed all of her degrees at West Virginia University. Lacey has worked as a therapist in the community since 2020, and she is currently a trained EMDR therapist specializing in trauma and addiction in Morgantown.
She enjoys offering students unique experiences and stories aimed towards helping to increase compassion and decrease stigma towards individuals with substance use disorders. She believes compassion and connection are the first steps towards change, and therefore values creating a safe space in the classroom.
