Research Impact

The College of Applied Human Sciences at West Virginia University is committed to conducting research that makes a difference in West Virginia’s schools, communities, families, and individuals. Our engaged scholarship approach empowers students, faculty members, and community partners to collaborate on projects that address pressing social and educational issues in the state. The questions we investigate and the discoveries we make provide insight into real-life solutions—addressing everything from the teacher shortage, to improving physical and mental health, to enhancing educational opportunities, and improving educational outcomes.
