Pat Fehl Endowment

The Path Fehl Endowment provides financial support to College of Applied Human Sciences faculty to engage and participate in international initiatives. The purpose of the endowment is to promote and advance global engagement, collaboration, and scholarly activities among full-time CAHS faculty.

There are two types of funding requests:

  • Faculty-Led Short-Term Study Abroad
  • Faculty International Initiatives

Faculty-Led Short-Term Study Abroad

This funding supports faculty travel expenses associated with leading short-term, faculty-led study abroad programs. The purpose of this support is to help reduce students’ overall travel costs through faculty subsidization, as faculty expenses are typically covered by students’ study abroad program fees. When a CAHS faculty member receives this award, the funds are applied directly to all participant student’s accounts in the form of scholarships.
