Welcome to the College of Applied Human Sciences!
Starting a new position is an exciting milestone, and we recognize that there is a great deal to learn during your first days and weeks. The College of Applied Human Sciences (CAHS) is committed to providing a welcoming, supportive, and organized onboarding experience that helps new employees successfully transition into their roles.
Prior to your first day, you will receive an individualized onboarding plan developed by your supervisor in collaboration with your school's administrative support staff and Human Resources representative. This plan includes important information, resources, introductions to key colleagues, and milestones designed to help you become familiar with the University, the College, and your new responsibilities.
Following your onboarding plan and completing each milestone will help ensure a smooth transition and provide a strong foundation for your success at West Virginia University.
