Biographical Sketch

Regina Burgess is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Vocational Evaluator. Currently she is a full time teaching assistant instructor and teaches courses such as Introduction to Rehabilitation, Job Placement/Job Development, Client Services, Abnormal Behavior, Couples and Family Counseling and Counseling Techniques. Additionally, she supervises students through clinical practicum and internship experiences and advises students.

Prior to this position, Ms. Burgess was employed with a private counseling/rehabilitation counseling company providing services to veterans and industrially injured workers in West Virginia. She holds a masters degree in rehabilitation counseling from West Virginia University and is working toward a doctoral degree in educational leadership. Ms. Burgess has approximately 12 years of experience as a rehabilitation counseling professional.
