Biographical Sketch

Dr. Jiangmei Yuan is an associate professor at West Virginia University. She earned her Ph.D in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia. Her research interests focus on improving pre- and in-service teachers’ STEM learning and teaching, especially the learning and teaching of computational thinking and engineering design, and improving undergraduate engineering students’ engagement and academic achievement in foundational courses. Her publications have appeared in multiple leading venues, including Computers & Education, Educational Technology Research and Development, Instructional Science, and Journal of Computer Assisted Learning.
