Teaching Impact

The College of Applied Human Sciences at West Virginia University is committed to teaching that prepares our students to become leaders in their chosen professions—from teachers, to policy analysts, to social service providers, to coaches, to counselors. Through coursework, practical experiences, and community engagement, we design our teaching contexts to give students real-life experiences that they can draw on in their future careers. And through our teaching, we strive to bring learning opportunities to all West Virginians by providing different ways to access and participate in our programs—from face-to-face to online offerings, from local to remote contexts.
