Gary J. Quinn
Gary Quinn was inducted into the College of Applied Human Sciences Hall of Fame in the fall of 2025. He was previously inducted into the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences Hall of Fame in 2020 and was recognized as the College’s Distinguished Alumnus in 2006.
Quinn earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Montclair State University and a master’s degree in sport management from West Virginia University.
He began his career at NBC Sports as a graduate intern in 1995 and has remained with the network throughout his career. He currently serves as Vice President, Partnerships & General Manager, Owned Properties at NBC Sports, where he oversees partnerships with organizations including Notre Dame Football, the Big Ten, the NBA, and NBC’s horse racing partners such as the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, Royal Ascot, and the Breeders’ Cup.
Quinn also leads NBC Sports’ Owned Properties division, which manages high-profile events including the PNC Championship, the National Dog Show, the American Century Championship, and the All-American Bowl. These properties have generated more than $600 million over the past two decades and feature some of the most recognizable names and moments in sports and entertainment.
A five-time Emmy Award winner for his work on NBC Olympics coverage, Quinn has been recognized nationally for his impact on sports media and event programming. He is also a longtime member of the Springfield, N.J., Lions Club.
