Mackenzie Rombach currently serves as a Graduate Service Assistant in the Office of Student Success, working as a Success Coach to support students in developing the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to navigate their academic and personal goals.
She is also a doctoral student in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology at West Virginia University, where she is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her career in sport began as a collegiate and professional volleyball athlete before transitioning into NCAA Division I coaching, where she spent six seasons working with athletes across training, competition, team dynamics, and performance development. She has also worked with the United States Men’s Sitting Volleyball National Team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jacksonville State University and her Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise and Sport Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
