College Football Playoff

The College Football Playoff, based in Irving, Texas, is seeking four highly motivated college graduates for its 2022-2023 internship program. The internship is 9 months and is an especially great opportunity for May and August graduates. Successful candidates will be an integral part of staging the national championship game in Los Angeles on January 9, 2023, as well as laying the groundwork for games in subsequent years. Four full-time, paid positions will be hired from August 1, 2022, through April 28, 2023. Interns will be required to work extensive hours in December and January, as well as select weekends and holidays.

Elite Tournaments

Elite Tournaments is an event management firm based in Howard County, Maryland that specializes in youth soccer and lacrosse tournaments. They recently partnered with the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) to manage all of their women’s lacrosse recruiting showcase events throughout the year. This paid internship would have a heavy focus in lacrosse operations, helping our full-time staff prepare for and navigate the summer IWLCA events.

Adelphi University

Students selected for this Sport-Based Youth Development Fellowship will earn a Master’s degree from Adelphi University in Sport Management or Physical Activity Studies in two years, with all tuition costs covered (18 credits a year). SBYD Fellows will specialize in Sport-Based Youth Development as part of their Master’s degree. Students will work part-time for an SBYD organization as part of the SBYD Fellowship, gaining valuable experience in the field of sport-based youth development.

The West Virginia Black Bears are a Minor League Baseball team based in Granville, West Virginia. The West Virginia Black Bears share the facility with the West Virginia University Mountaineers of the Big 12 Conference. The stadium hosts many community events alongside baseball games, such as kids’ activities, fundraisers, and family days. They are currently seeking interns to fill positions in Ticketing, Merchandising, and Facilities & Operations.
