Biographical Sketch

Kayla Abrahamson is a first-year doctoral student from Richmond, VA. During her undergraduate years, she received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology & Physical Education at James Madison University, then continued her studies to receive her Masters of Science in Adapted Physical Activity at Slippery Rock University. Kayla currently holds a Graduate Research Assistant position in the Coaching and Teaching studies program, while completing research in Adapted Physical Activity. Her research interests include fitness facility accessibility and other health & fitness opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
